Keeping things clean is a priority in these unprecedented times. And while many of us know how to eliminate bacteria and viruses on hard surfaces such as counter tops and walls, we may not be so sure about how to disinfect our softer surfaces like vinyl upholstery. Here is a helpful list of products that you can use to clean vinyls, according to Morbern:

Clorox ® Hydrogen Peroxide Disinfecting Cleaner
This kills bacteria and viruses in 30 seconds.

Dispatch ® Hospital Cleaner Disinfectant Towels with Bleach
This kills most bacteria and viruses in 1 minute. See the link for a full list.

Please adhere to the manufacturer’s instructions.

It is always best to practice on an inconspicuous area first to be sure it does not negatively affect the vinyl coated fabric. From there you can branch out to what you need to disinfect.

Please note that these are not cleaners for stains or dirt, instead, they are disinfectants to help combat lingering bacteria and virus pathogens.
