Bio-Cushions
- Meet or exceed all applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards including CAL 117 A and D as well as FMVSS 302 flammability requirements without the use of any fire retardants (brominated or halogenated)
- Polyol used is a minimum 20-30 % natural agricultural based (i.e. Soy or Canola) and uses 20-40% less fossil fuels than traditional petroleum based foam
- Foam is molded for consistency and durability
- Formulation is water based/water blown, not solvent
- Water based mold release agents, not solvent
- Meet Industry standard for physical properties (ASTM3574)
- Increased compression set for longer life and excellent resilience
- Reduced CO2 emissions and carbon foot-printing during manufacturing process
Fabrics made with recycled yarns
- 100% recycled yarn, with the yarn having a minimum 80% recycled content using both post-consumer waste (plastic water bottles) and post production fiber waste
- Recycled yarns are easier and faster to weave saving electricity. 1LB. of recycled yarn conserves 61,000 BTU’s of energy (equivalent to 0.50 gallons of gasoline)
