IT Generalist
Freedman Seating, a growing manufacturing firm located on the west side of Chicago, has an exciting opportunity for a new addition in our IT Department. We are a bus seat manufacturer and a leader in our industry. Our nearly 600 employees support a majority of the bus building industry with high quality seating. We often customize our products and are consistently expanding our product line.
We are looking for a motivated self-started who is comfortable working independently. A smart, quick learner will have great opportunities for growth and development in this position. Also, experience and interest in training will be extremely helpful, as you will be training users on our ERP system.
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills:
- Highly proficient in MS Office applications.
- ERP experience, especially in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Customer Service approach.
It would be helpful if you also had:
- Experience with Crystal report writing.
- Microsoft Certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
We are a company where you must do it all to be successful. You will also act as Help Desk Support on a daily basis – the ability to wear many hats is a plus!
